How we check prices

Where the numbers come from

We read each vendor's public pricing page and record every plan, billing option and team size it lists, exactly as shown. We don't use review sites, sales calls or estimates. 13 of the 26 tools publish their prices; for the rest we explain how the vendor says it prices and mark them as quote only.

Each tool page shows the date of the last check and links to the page we read, so you can confirm any number yourself.

What we don't do

• We don't estimate or calculate prices a vendor doesn't publish. If a vendor only says "save 20% annually", we say that, without inventing the annual number.
• We don't list temporary promotions as prices. We record the regular price.
• We don't rank tools or accept payment from vendors to be listed or to change what we say.

When a price changes

Our weekly check compares each pricing page with what we published. Normal updates go live automatically and are added to the tool's price history. Large or unusual changes, such as a price moving more than 30% or a plan disappearing, are held until a person confirms them, so a misread page doesn't put a wrong number online.

How this site is paid for

This site shows ads. Advertisers don't choose what we write, and vendors can't pay to be included. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners; we are not affiliated with any vendor listed.
